She likes to live with kids and is very family-oriented.

Previously, Phoenix lived in a home with other dogs and seemed to get along with them.

Bruno is a two-year-old cat who is ready for his forever home.

Leah Earl of the Sudbury SPCA said he is a happy and healthy cat that is ready go home with someone.

“He is a very sweet boy,” Earl said.

“He is a little bit on the shy side … So, he'll probably appreciate a calmer house."

“Someone who can take their time in getting to know him ... He is a very very sweet boy.”

Earl told CTV News that Bruno was transferred to Sudbury from one of the SPCA's rescue partners on Manitoulin Island.

“We love when people come and visit the cat they want to take home,” she said.

“That is a really great way to get to know him.”

Cupcake is a five-year cat who is ready for her forever home.

Leah Earl of the Sudbury SPCA said she is a friendly tabby ready for some attention.

“She is very affectionate, that’s for sure,” Earl said.

“She definitely seeks attention … We are really looking forward to matching her with a good family.”

“She is a great, active cat. I think she probably would do well in a home, probably being an independent lady.”

Earl said Cupcake would do well in a home where the owner has a lot of time for her.

“She really does feed off affection,” she said.

“She really likes resting on your shoulder, as well.”

Hershey’s a bit shy, but once he gets to know you, he is a loving dog with a goofy side.

That’s the word from Leah Earl, of the Sudbury SPCA, in this week’s edition of Take Me Home Tuesday.

"He’s a bit of a shy boy, but (we’re) really, really looking forward to help him find his perfect person," Leah said of one-year-old Hershey.

Having another dog in the home would help him get used to his surroundings.

"Or someone who is patient and willing to help him come out of his shell, do some basic training with him," she said.

"He’s such a sweet, lovely boy."

Hershey was around female dogs at his foster home and he fit in well, Leah said.

"He really, really loved their energy," she said.

"He’s very playful. He has such a loving personality once he warms up. He’s quite goofy once he warms up ad settles into his environment."

As of July 25 Hershey is still available for adoption.
