Greater Sudbury Police have made an arrest in a case involving a small fire outside a downtown area rooming house on Sunday.
Police say a man was seen throwing an incendiary device into the porch area of the Beech Street building and then running away from the scene.
The unidentified suspect is facing numerous charges, including six counts of disregard for human life.
City firefighters quickly doused the flames.
Damage is estimated at $1,000.
There were no reported injuries.
