SUDBURY -- On the day 20 new COVID cases were reported in Greater Sudbury, it appears as though the anti-mask movement is coming to the city on Saturday.

According to tweets by a pro-Donald Trump group called 'Canada's Republicans,' local anti-mask supporters will join Toronto anti-masker Chris Sky at the rally beginning at 1 p.m. at Tom Davies Square.

Sky, whose real name is Chris Saccoccia, tweeted a photo promoting the rally which said it's being organized by a group called 'Mothers Against Distancing.'

Sky was arrested last month for not quarantining after he and his wife returned from the U.S. He was also arrested at the Moncton airport on Oct. 10 for causing a disturbance, and was put on a plane out of Atlantic Canada when he was released.

Messages to Greater Sudbury Police asking how they plan to handle Saturday's event were not immediately returned Friday evening.
