Update:

North Bay police say they have a man in custody in connection to an early morning convenience store robbery on Thursday.

A 22-year-old local man is now facing charges of robbery, disguise with intent, and breach of probation.

The accused is being held in custody pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.

Police thank members of the public and hte media for their assistance with the investigation.

North Bay police are on the hunt for a man they say is involved in convenience store robbery.

Police say before 4:00 am Thursday morning, a man walked into the Cassells Street store claiming he had a weapon in his pocket.

He then demanded money from the clerk.

After he received a small amount of money, police say he left the scene on foot.  

He is described as a tall, white male with a medium build and he was wearing black underwear over head and face, a black Vans hoodie, a black backpack, and blue jeans.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call city police or Crime Stoppers.
