Winter storm watch upgraded to snowfall warning Friday afternoon for the following communities:
- Burk’s Falls – Bayfield Inlet
- Deep River - Whitney - Eastern Algonquin Park
- North Bay – Powassan – Mattawa
- Parry Sound – Muskoka
- South River - Dunchurch
- West Nipissing – French River
Snowfalls of five to ten centimeters begin Friday night and will mix with or change to rain on Saturday before the heavy snow starts in these areas Saturday evening. Rapid accumulation will end Sunday morning with 15 to 20 cm total snow expected.
Travel is expected to be hazardous because of reduced visibility due to gusty winds and possible freezing rain in some areas.

- Kirkland Lake – Englehart
- New Liskeard – Temagami
