In the first of many visits to the northern region Premier Kathleen Wynne is in the Sault meeting with Mayor Christian Provenzano.
They talked about Sault Ste. Marie issues like Essar Steel and its creditor problems including the back taxes the city is owed. The premier also answered the PC's and their allegation that the government is bailing on the development of the ring of fire chromite deposit. Premier Wynne later joined Sault Liberal candidate Debbie Amaroso for a tour of the Ontario Finnish rest home.
The Premier will be in North Bay on Thursday to address Northern Mayors.
