A fatal collision involving a tractor trailer and a car claimed the life of one person.
The Ontario Provincial Police confirms one person died in the collision, which happened early Wednesday morning in Verner, east of Sudbury.
Highway 17 at Gingras Avenue and Beaudry Road was closed for about seven hours.
Police said the crash happened around 1 a.m.
The name of the victim has not been released, as police investigate the cause of the collision.
