A video posted by a northern Ontario woman sitting on her deck wearing a tank top and shorts while enjoying some coffee and toast during a wicked winter storm is grabbing major attention on social media.

Leeanne Capay of Lac Seul First Nation, in northwestern Ontario near Sioux Lookout north of Dryden, posted a video of herself with the caption "enjoying snow day at home today" Wednesday morning and it has more than 9,600 views in just six hours.

An intense winter storm is hammering the area with snow and ice pellets, with an accumulation of 15 to 25 centimetres expected.

The temperature in Lac Seul is -8 C on Wednesday afternoon with peak snowfall rates of 2-4 cm/h and wind gusts up to 70 km/h.

The juxtaposition of Capay's calm demeanour, the sound of wind chimes and the snow blowing in her face seem to be resonating with her followers judging by the comments and shares.
