Two people found dead in Sault Ste. Marie

Police in Sault Ste. Marie are investigating two sudden deaths on Boundary Road.

Police responded to a call at the residence at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.

“Upon arrival, officers located a deceased person in a vehicle outside the residence,” police said in a news release.

“Officers entered the residence and located a second person deceased inside the residence.”

Further details will be released as they become available, but police said there is no danger to the public. Neighbours said an elderly couple lived there.

“Through the early stages of the investigation, this is believed to be an isolated incident,” police said.

“Significant police resources will remain on scene as the investigation is ongoing.”
