Suspect sought in suspicious death in northern Ont.
Ontario Provincial Police in Cochrane, Ont., are asking for the public’s help in locating a man they want to speak with in connection with a suspicious death.

Human remains were found Thursday in a wooded area of Egan Township, and unorganized township in northern Ontario. Police said Friday the death is suspicious.
“Police are looking to locate Lucas MacDonald, age 43, of Egan Township, who has two warrants issued … for unrelated matters,” police said Friday.
“Investigators also believe that he may have information regarding the death investigation. If located, call police and do not approach.”
MacDonald is 5-foot-8, with dark collar-length hair with some grey and a thin short beard. When last seen, he was wearing a ball cap with a bandana underneath it and wrap-around sunglasses.
“The OPP reminds all members of the public to be aware of their surroundings and personal safety at all times and to call the police to report any suspicious activity,” police said.
“The South Porcupine OPP crime unit is continuing the investigation under the direction of the OPP criminal investigation branch, with assistance from the OPP forensic identification services and in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service.”
