Two people arrested on Chapple Avenue in Sault Ste. Marie

Sault Ste. Marie Police Service said two people were arrested following a heavy police presence on Chapple Avenue on Thursday.

The first notification from police was sent out just after noon Oct. 10 and an update came just after 5 p.m.

"Officers are no longer holding the scene, however the investigation is ongoing," police said.

"Further details will be released as they become available."
