Two men from GTA charged with drug trafficking in Sudbury

A drug bust on Pine Street in Sudbury resulted in the seizure of more than $40,000 in crack cocaine and pills and the arrest of two suspected drug dealers from the Greater Toronto Area, police say.
Detectives with the drug enforcement unit concluded their investigation Thursday with the help of the Ontario Provincial Police, Greater Sudbury Police Service said in a news release.
Two men, ages 24 and 29, are charged with drug trafficking, unauthorized possession of a weapon and possession of property obtained by crime.
During the raid, officers seized nearly 300 grams of crack, 117 Oxycodone pills, 511 Hydromorphone pills, 55 morphine pills, more than $6,000 cash, two prohibited weapons and 275 cellular SIM cards suspected to have been stolen.
The two suspects are expected to attend bail court sometime Thursday.
