Police in Timmins have arrested a youth related to a disturbance on Wende Street on Thursday.

“The Timmins Police Service responded to a call for service where a 13-year-old young person had caused damage to property at the residence,” they said in a news release Friday.

The investigation determined that the youth is currently bound by court-imposed conditions to keep the peace and be of good behavior.

The 13-year-old was taken into police custody and charged with mischief, failing to comply with a sentence and failing to comply with a release order.

The accused remained in police custody until a bail hearing could take place Friday.
