This little pig came knocking on his neighbour’s door in Timmins

CTV Northern Ontario journalist Lydia Chubak had a surprise visitor Monday, when Bush the pig showed up looking for some food.

“I was on a call when I saw a pig rooting around in the back yard,” Chubak said.

“I live in a forested area and was rather surprised to see it.”

She quickly googled what to feed a pig – apples --so she could keep him close by as she called animal control. Then she found out he was her new neighbour.

“A neighbour walking by with his dog told me the pig belonged to one of our other neighbours down the road,” Chubak said.

“I called off animal control and my neighbour walked the pig back to its home. It was very friendly and I think it would have happily come inside for more treats if I had let it.”

“This made my day and so I'll have to pay my new neighbour Bush a visit someday at his place,” she added.
