SUDBURY -- Greater Sudbury Police Service returned to the scene of a standoff in the community of Chelmsford that ended Thursday with the arrest of a 43-year-old man.
Investigators executed a search warrant of the residence on McKenzie Road on Friday.
The man was involved in an almost day-long standoff that ended when the Ontario Provincial Police tactical unit broke into his house and made an arrest.
He now faces several weapons offences and a charge of forcible confinement in connection with holding a 26-year-old woman hostage.
