Greater Sudbury police are investigating arson in the city’s Flour Mill area.
They got the call just after 10 a.m. on Thursday about a suspicious person seen exiting a home located on the corner of Murray and Leslie Street.
Police say furniture inside one of the units within the home was lit on fire.
Officials say no one was home at the time of the incident and that the unit sustained smoke and water damage.
Yellow fire tape secures the scene and officers with the Criminal Investigation Division have been called in.
Detectives are canvassing the area for video surveillance footage and anyone with information related to the matter is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
