David Brown, 46, is "known to live a transient lifestyle and is resourceful in the wilderness, living off the land," Niagara Regoinal Police Service said in a news release Monday.
He is wanted for the murder of Tenille Olivia King (Lepp), 43, and was last seen in the Greater Sudbury area on Nov. 4.
There is no evidence he is connected to the body found in the Donovan, but police said earlier in the week to not to approach him and call 911 right away.
Brown is described as a five-foot-11 inches tall white male with blue/hazel eyes and tattoos on his left arm of tribal design, mermaid and a flame arm band on his upper arm
The wanted man was last seen wearing brown construction overalls, a black sweater with 'buffalo plaid,' black rubber boots and carrying a brown military-style backpack.
A month ago in the same wooded area, Sudbury fire crews were called to the scene of an explosion at an encampment. No indication the two incidents are related.
