Sudbury man, 60, charged with historical sexual violence offences involving minors

A 60-year-old man in Greater Sudbury is facing numerous disturbing charges involving historic sexual assaults and other offences involving victims younger than 18.
In a news release Friday, Greater Sudbury Police said there were three victims they are aware of, but there could be more.
“Based on the investigation, there are concerns that there may be other survivors,” police said.
“If you have any information related to this incident or this individual, you are asked to contact police at 705-675-9171.”
Police said they believe the suspect “committed numerous historical sexual violence-related offences against individuals under the age of 18.”
Charges include sexual assault, publication of intimate images without consent, two counts of voyeurism, possession of child pornography, uttering threats and one charge related to storing a firearm.
Victims of sexual assault are not alone, police said.

“We know that this is a very difficult time for survivors and we want to provide you with the assistance, resources and support that you require,” police said.
