SUDBURY -- Time to get the shovels ready, as Environment Canada has released a snowfall warning for northeastern Ontario.

An approaching low-pressure system will bring snowfall to the region starting Saturday morning.

The snow will be heavy at times throughout the day before becoming light flurries on Sunday.

A total accumulation of 15-25 cm is expected with 50 km/h winds, which will create blowing snow and will impact travel conditions.
