The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service and partner agencies are continuing to look for missing 11-year-old Ruby Kerr.

Ruby was last seen on May 12, 2023, in the 1500 block of Goulais Avenue at the outdoor learning centre near Nettleton Lake. Ruby was last seen wearing a blue sweater, which is likely tied around their waist, black shorts, a black t-shirt with anime design on the front and is described as 5’0” tall, with shoulder length light brown hair.

There is a significant presence in the area where Ruby was last seen. Sault Police, along with partners from the Ontario Provincial Police, Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry and Sault Search and Rescue are actively looking for Ruby. Community members are asked to avoid the area to allow the search teams to focus on finding Ruby.
