A serious vehicle collision closed a section of a main road in Greater Sudbury’s Valley area late Tuesday for four hours.

Greater Sudbury police got the call just before midnight on Tuesday regarding a collision that had occurred south of the intersection of MR 80 and Valley View Road in Val Caron.

Police say just before the crash, a silver two-door Audi was driving southbound towards Lasalle Boulevard when it crossed the center line and collided with another vehicle.
