SUDBURY -- A Sault Ste. Marie woman is the latest lottery winner from northeastern Ontario, winning a $1 million prize.
Patricia Maschke has become a millionaire by playing Lotto Max Encore.
Ontario Lottery and Gaming (OLG) officials say she matched all seven Encore numbers in exact order to win the prize in the Aug. 23 draw. The Encore is an add-on game that can be played with many lottery games for an extra $1 and has a draw every day.
OLG officials say the winning ticket was purchased at Stamping Grounds on Second Line in Sault Ste. Marie.
