Police in Sault Ste. Marie have charged a 34-year-old local man with arson and attempted murder.
It's in connection with a fire set inside a residence in the 300 block of Northern Avenue late in the evening on Sunday, June 9.
A person was inside the home at the time, but escaped without injury.
The accused is being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
