Sault police seek public help with mischief investigation after Grocer 4 Good window smashed

Sault police are investigating a mischief incident at Grocer 4 Good on Gore Street late last year.

On Dec. 30 just before 3 p.m., a male suspect was walking with a dog in front of the store when he deliberately kicked the front window shattering it and causing significant damage, according to Crime Stoppers of Sault Ste. Marie & Algoma District

“A mischief occurred at Grocer 4 Good, where a male was walking with his dog in front of the store and then proceeded to kick the front windowpane at the front of the store," said Crime Stoppers.

Video surveillance cameras captured the incident, and the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service and Crime Stoppers are requesting the public’s assistance identifying the suspect.

“Look closely at these photos if you have any information to assist in identifying this suspect and your tip leads to an arrest, you may be eligible for a cash reward,” said Crime Stoppers.

Anyone with information about the incident or the identity of the two suspects is asked to contact Sault police or Crime Stoppers.
