On Dec. 4, a male suspect entered the store and concealed two bottles of whiskey in his pants before he approached the cashier and paid for other merchandise – but not the bottles he concealed, according to police.
“On the (sixth) of December the male returned repeating the theft, concealing a bottle of vodka in his pants, paying for other items and leaving the store,” said officials with Crime Stoppers of Sault Ste. Marie & Algoma District in a news release this week.
The incident was captured by video surveillance cameras and the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service and Crime Stoppers are requesting the public’s assistance with identifying the suspect.
