Sault police investigating motor vehicle crash involving a cyclist

Members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service’s traffic unit are investigating a motor vehicle crash that occurred earlier this week.

The collision occurred on Oct. 15 at about 7:40 p.m.

“A car collided with a cyclist at the intersection of Farwell Terrace and Churchill Avenue,” said police in a news release.

“The cyclist was transported to hospital with life threatening injuries.”

Sault police have asked anyone who may witnesses the crash or who may have dash cam footage or surveillance footage of the incident to contact Sergeant Joe Poderys at 705-949-6300 ext. 348.
