Nicolas Berlingieri, Dylan Forsyth, and Nicholas Plastino have now joined the force.
“We extend a heartfelt thank you to her Honour Justice Victoria Chiappetta for helping to facilitate another swearing-in ceremony,” police officials said on social media on Wednesday.
“Congratulations to Nicolas Berlingieri, Dylan Forsyth, and Nicholas Plastino on the start of this exciting new chapter.”
Sault Mayor Matthew Shoemaker attended the swearing-in ceremony and provided words of encouragement to the new recruits.
“We thank our new constables for their commitment to the City of Sault Ste. Marie and Prince Township,” reads the post.
“The community and your new colleagues wish you a safe, happy, and fulfilling career.”
SSMPS is still actively recruiting officers.
“We are actively looking for candidates to join our team,” reads their website.
