A building on Queen Street East in Sault Ste. Marie is in danger of collapsing because of heavy snow.

Sault Ste. Marie Police have closed the road between East Street and Brock Street, police said Tuesday morning.

"A building scheduled for demolition is at risk of premature collapse due to the wet, heavy snow," police said in a news release.

"This section of the road will be closed to pedestrians and vehicles until further notice. Please take alternate routes."
