SUSBURY -- As long-term care homes across the province are facing devastating challenges from COVID-19, a Sudbury facility is taking precautionary measures to help ensure the safety of all residents.
CTV News has learned from senior leadership at Pioneer Manor, a city-run facility, that it is testing all residents who show any known symptoms of COVID-19, which include a fever, cough and/or shortness of breath.
As of Friday morning, officials tell CTV News that 18 residents have tested negative for the novel coronavirus and there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 at Pioneer Manor.
