SUDBURY -- The City of Sudbury says Queen's Athletic Skating Oval is temporarily closed due to unfavourable ice conditions brought on by the mild weather over the last few days.

They say once temperatures are cold enough, staff will work to re-build the ice surface.

Residents will be notified when the oval is open.

The City says public skating opportunities are available free of charge at all community arenas under a pilot program to provide affordable access to recreational and leisure opportunities.
