As part of an ongoing investigation, provincial police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a Kubota tractor stolen in North Shore Township, Ont., last month and those responsible for the theft.

Members of the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachment said the tractor and a trailer were stolen from a property on Handy Spot Road overnight on Sept. 16.

“The Kubota is described as (a) red metal frame, black seat and controls, all safety stickers are in French, a new black half-inch hydraulic hose on the outside of the boom, and partially missing B21 sticker on the left of the cab,” said police in a social media post.

“The trailer is a double axle, light color wood, and black rusty metal wheel wells.”

OPP has shared details of the theft investigation on social media and provided photos of the red tractor showing some rust to its bucket.
