Police officials have released the name of the suspect being sought in connection to a stabbing incident on Lloyd Street.
Greater Sudbury police are looking for help from the public in locating 27-year old Andrew McNichol.
The stabbing incident happened Wednesday afternoon.
A 30-year-old man was transported to hospital in critical condition, after he was stabbed.
Police officials on scene told CTV officers he was bleeding from the neck.
The man remains in hospital in stable condition.
McNichol is wanted for aggravated assault and weapons dangerous under the Criminal Code of Canada.
He is described as being approximately 6’0” tall and weighing approximately 190 pounds. He has brown eyes and a shaven head. He often frequents the Downtown core of Greater Sudbury
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of McNichol is asked to contact police immediately and police officials warn people not approach him.
