Local fire officials and the Ontario Provincial Police told CTV News they do not have any information about the incident but said they have received no reports of injuries on the lake.
Locals have drilled a hole in the ice and put an anchor cable to the back of the truck to prevent it from going down to the bottom of the lake.
It is unclear when it will be safe to attempt to get the truck off the lake as weather conditions remain unseasonably warm.
