OPP seek public assistance in West Nipissing break and enter, theft case

Officers with the Ontario Provincial Police’s Nipissing West detachment are investigating a break-and-enter and theft from a business on Highway 17 in West Nipissing, earlier this month.

“Sometime after August 15, unknown person(s) forced their way into the property,” said police in a social media post this week.

Police said the following items were removed from the business:

  • Husqvarna 3501 Chainsaw
  • Husqvarna 365 Chainsaw
  • Husqvarna 372 XP Chainsaw
  • Husqvarna 545FX Brush Cutter
  • Propane Ducar 4000w inverter generator
  • Ducar 2000w inverter

“Officers are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the individual(s) involved in the theft or possession of these item,” said police.

Anyone with information related to the incident or the location of the stolen property is asked to call OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or contact Crime Stoppers anonymously.

The reference number of the case is E241101572.
