An incident involving siblings last weekend in Thessalon, Ont., ended with threats against campground staff and charges for one of the family members.

The incident began in the morning of Sept. 7 when one of the siblings was seen defecating outside a seasonal trailer, located on Lakeside Drive in the community.

As a result, staff at the campground told two people they had to leave the site by 11 a.m.

"Later, a sibling of one of the evicted individuals attended the campground, threatened park staff and left on foot," Ontario Provincial Police said in a news release Wednesday.

"Police identified the accused through video footage provided by the complainant."

Officers located the suspect walking on Main Street by noon the same day and made an arrest.

The 39-year-old from Thessalon is charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Elliot Lake on Oct. 3.
