NORTH BAY -- Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are renewing a call for help to solve a 10-year-old investigation in which a man’s body was found in West Nipissing.

Police have released a video showcasing the area, a composite sketch of the victim and the clothing that was found by the remains.

"They were located north of Highway 17 on Lac Clair Rd. in the Municipality of West Nipissing," said OPP Sgt. Carlo Berardi, in the video.

The remains were discovered on Sept. 2, 2010. There was no form of personal identification found accompanying the body.

"We were able to determine that the male would have between the ages of 35-55 years old and healthy with a medium build," said Sgt. Berardi. "His height would have been 5 feet 8 inches tall to 6 feet 4 inches tall."

In the video, investigators revealed the clothes found with the remains: a camouflage jacket, Ray-Ban sunglasses, a gold-coloured quartz watch, a red and navy blue gym bag, a camouflage backpack and size 11 Athletic Works joggers.

"We believe his remains could have been there as early as June 2010," said OPP Det. Inspector Laura Houliston in the video. "No piece of information is too small and all information will be investigated.”

While investigators suspect no foul play was involved at this time, they are seeking more information.

If anyone knows anything about this individual, they encouraged to call OPP at 1-877-9-FINDME.
