Northwestern Ont. police investigate fatal collision

One person was killed Tuesday evening in a single-vehicle crash in Dryden in northwestern Ontario.

Police were called to the scene on Arthur Street at 10 p.m., along with paramedics and the fire department.

The driver, a 56-year-old man from Dryden, was taken to hospital in critical condition, but he was later pronounced dead.

Arthur Street was closed while investigators processed the scene, but all lanes have since reopened.
