Update #2:
North Bay police have identified the pedestrian that was killed after a collision with a vehicle as 55-year-old Joseph Young of North Bay.
He succumbed to injuries in hospital.
Police say the driver of the vehicle had remained at the scene and has been cooperative with the investigation.
No charges have been laid.
The investigation is ongoing.

Police say the victim has since died from injuries sustained in the collision.

Police in North Bay are looking into a collision involving a pedestrian and a motor vehicle early Tuesday morning.
They say the incident took place at around 6 am in the 200 block of Mountainview Drive and a pedestrian was sent to hospital with serious, life threatening injuries.
Mountainview Drive is closed from Wickstead Avenue to Lake Heights for an investigation and police are requesting drivers to avoid the area.
