On September 1, first responders arrived on the scene of a fatal collision on highway 63 in the North Bay area.
The victim was 25-year-old Nipissing student-athlete Shelby Dickey.
Dickey was riding on a bicycle when she was hit by a car.
She was taken to a hospital and died of her injuries.
Nippissing University Lakers say Dickey had recently completed her undergraduate degree and was to defend her Master's thesis.
