Sault police executing search warrant for home where two bodies were found

Detectives with Sault police, including members of the forensic identification unit, executed a search warrant Thursday inside a residence on Boundary Road.

Police responded to a call at the residence 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, discovering a body inside the residence and another person dead inside a vehicle outside.

“Officers remain on scene as this is an active investigation,” police said Thursday.

“Further details will be released as they become available.”

On Wednesday, police said they believe this was an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public.
