SUDBURY – On the evening of Wednesday, September 25, members of the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police responded to a pharmacy on Ontario Avenue in Elliot Lake for a report of an unwanted person.
Police say a male indicated to a pharmacist that he had a weapon and then proceeded to demand hydromorphone.
A quantity of medication was turned over to the suspect at which time he fled the store.
Despite an extensive search, the suspect was not located.
The suspect is described as:
- Caucasian
- Male
- 6 feet tall
- Slim build
- Wearing dark jeans
- Grey hoodie
