Holiday traditions continue in the Town of Kapuskasing this coming weekend. The municipality is once again organizing a family-friendly opening ceremony for its Festival of Lights.
Riverside Park will be transformed into a winter wonderland with colourful light displays.
Organizers hope that this event continues to be a magical and memorable event for the whole family.
The festival will begin Sunday evening at 6:30 pm and will feature the following:
· Hundreds of thousands of lights beautifully displayed to get you in the holiday spirit
· Tim Hortons hot chocolate
· Jubilee Singers & Friends sing-a-long
· Youth scavenger hunt with Hart gift card as the top prize
· Massive bonfire
The weather forecast for the town shows it should be a nice, mild night just below freezing for the festivities.
