Highway 11 reopened between Hearst and Kapuskasing after crash

Ontario Provincial Police say Highway 11 is reopened Monday morning after being closed between Hearst and Kapuskasing following a crash Sunday afternoon.

Few details are available, but police said a motor vehicle collision in Hallebourg, Ont., closed Highway 11 shortly after 4 p.m. Sunday.

The Ontario Ministry of Transportation said on social media the highway reopened between Beattie Street in Kapuskasing and Alary Road North & La Petite Gaspesie Road South in Hearst shortly before 4 a.m., but OPP reported the reopening at 2:22 a.m.

Police have not release any details on the cause of crash, if there are any injuries, the number of vehicles involved or if any charges are pending.

Two other crashes closed Highway 17 between Espanola and Nairn Centre and Highway 69 in Estaire on Sunday as well. 

Both roads reopened Sunday around 7:30 p.m.
