SUDBURY -- Environment Canada has issued a fog advisory for the north shore of Lake Superior Thursday morning due to visibility issues that could potentially extend to Sault Ste. Marie.
Areas currently affected are:
- Wawa - Pukaskwa Park
- Marathon – Schreiber
- Nipigon - Rossport
The fog may become more widespread and expand eastward towards Sault St. Marie at some point in the day. As a result, the advisory may be expanded into these areas.
If travelling, be prepared for areas of near-zero visibility. If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance.
