SUDBURY -- After almost 50 years, people in the Sudbury area got the last edition of Northern Life, a weekly community newspaper, on Thursday.
Its parent company, Laurentian Media Group, announced recently it was selling its holdings to Village Media in Sault Ste. Marie.
In addition to the Northern Life, the company also owned Northern Ontario Business and Sudbury Dot Com.
While the physical paper will be no more, the other operations will continue.
