SUDBURY -- An announcement around infrastructure is planned for Thursday morning related to public transit and active transportation in Greater Sudbury.
Sudbury MP Paul Lefebvre is expected to make the announcement at 11 a.m. at the transit fleet garage on Lorne Street.
Joining Lefebvre is Nickel Belt MP Marc G. Serré, both acting on behalf of the Honourable Catherine McKenna, Minister of Infrastructure and Communities. Representing the province will be Dave Smith, Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Energy, Northern Development, and Mines and Indigenous Affairs, on behalf of the Honourable Laurie Scott, Ontario's Minister of Infrastructure. Mayor Brian Bigger will also attend.
