Elliot Lake man, 66, charged with harassing neighbour
A 66-year-old Elliot Lake man accused of harassing a neighbour is now facing criminal charges, police say.
Numerous harassment complaints about the man resulted in his arrest Feb. 10, Ontario Provincial Police said in a news release Monday.
"The complainant reported multiple harassment-related occurrences by a known person in a neighbourhood in Elliot Lake," OPP said.
"There was a history of ongoing harassment from a neighbour who had been yelling obscenities at them, threatening them and throwing snow at their house."

He is charged with criminal harassment by repeatedly communicating with the victim and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
“In order to protect the victim, I cannot state the street name. Sorry,” OPP Const. Phil Young told CTV News in an email.
He is scheduled to appear in court April 3.
The charges have not been proven in court.
