Drugged driving charges after vehicle in North Bay rolls over with young children inside
A 34-year-old in North Bay has been charged with drugged driving and drug possession after an SUV rolled over Oct. 15 on Highway 11.
Ontario Provincial Police said Monday that the young children inside the vehicle at the time escaped without injury.
Police were called at 7:40 p.m. to the single-vehicle crash involving with a 34-year-old driver – whose licence was suspended -- and three young children.
"Through investigation, the driver of the automobile was arrested for impaired driving and transported to the North Bay OPP detachment for further testing," police said in a news release.
"Fortunately, all occupants were safe."

Charges for the driver include driving while impaired by drugs, drug possession, driving while suspended, careless driving and obstructing police.
The vehicle has been impounded for seven days and the driver has a bail hearing today, Oct. 21, at the North Bay Ontario Court of Justice.
"The OPP reminds motorists to report impaired drivers," police said.
"Should you observe a suspected impaired driver, please dial 911 or contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122."
