Area now safe following bomb threat at Kapuskasing education centre, pool

SUDBURY -- The area is now clear, the OPP said Tuesday evening.
"There is no longer a threat to public safety," police tweeted.
Ontario Provincial Police in Kapuskasing are asking the public to avoid the Anderson Avenue and Devonshire Street area.
"The Kapuskasing Educational Centre and the Donat Brousseau Pool have been evacuated due to a bomb threat," police said on Twitter Tuesday afternoon.
"Police are at the scene and the investigation is ongoing."
