Adorable male kitten looking for a home

Share

In this week's Take Me Home Tuesday, CTV News is featuring Autumn, an adorable 10-week-old kitten at the Sudbury SPCA that needs a home.

Autumn came to the Ontario SPCA Sudbury & District Animal Centre at College Boreal on Lasalle Boulevard with its mother and three sisters.

All three of the female kittens he came to the shelter with have been adopted.

He is a domestic shorthair brown tabby with blue eyes that is full of energy, but finds TV interviews exhausting.

Autumn spent some time at a foster home getting ready to be adopted and is good with kids and other pets, including dogs and other cats, Alexandra Binns of the SPCA told CTV News.

Because he is a kitten, he will need lots of play and stimulation to avoid unwanted behaviour.

The best way to avoid ruined furniture is trimming your cat's nails regularly and providing a scratching post, Binns said.

Since Autumn is still too little to get neutered, he will need to wait until around January or so.

Catch Jessica Gosselin's Take Me Home Tuesday interview with Binns Tuesday night on CTV Northern Ontario. The video will be added above soon.

Contact the Sudbury SPCA if you are interested in adopting Autumn or any of the other cats or dogs they have available.

UPDATE

Sweetie, the seven-year-old German shorthaired pointer mix dog featured on last week's Take Me Home Tuesday, is still at the shelter waiting for her forever home.

She requires a household with no other pets, which Binns said has impacted her adoptability, however, she is a well-behaved dog that loves people.
